On July 18, a company called Mortgage Services Center made an unauthorized withdrawl from my account in the amount of $599.72. I found this out on July 22 after reviewing my account. I contacted the credit union and was informed that Mortgage Services Center initiated the transaction. However, I do not have an account with Mortgage Services so how were they able to take money from my account is the question” I went to the local branch and spoke with the branch of the credit union office on Bloomingdale Mr. Gary Robinson who said that is a common practice in the industry. Banks and other financial institutions make mistakes in accounts and take money from accounts they shouldn’t. So I should just take it and get used to it. He then told me it could happen again without notice. I then told him it is scary to know that a company that I am not affiliated with can have access to my money. I guess I should not be surprised to find my account cleaned out one day and it was only an “administrative” error by an unknown financial institution. Needless to say, he was useless and totally on-board with customers getting defrauded out of their money. I later got an email from the credit union that indicated that the company input the wrong account number which is why money was deducted from my account in error. I have to fill out a form to get my money back. I don’t understand how an unauthorized transaction can occur to take money out of my account without paperwork but it takes paperwork to put it back. Also, the credit union charges $10.00 to process the paperwork. This is unheard of and if Bernie Maddoff had thought up this scheme he would still be in business. This credit union and mortgage company should be held responsible and pay punitive damages for their actions equally. One for submitting the wrong information and the other for allowing it. I can’t wait to close this account and put this Mickey Mouse organization behind me.

Grow Financial use to have outstanding customer service but over the years Grow Financial is no longer once a member always a member. Grow Financial has went down.

Grow financial is one of the most underhanded places to do business. There are many other credit unions that do it a lot better.

Grow Financial has been nothing but a major headache since I reinstated my account with them. They have ridiculous hidden fees, and I don’t feel I have control over my own money with them. I’ve had nothing but issues with them since day one. The issues range from unable to use my debit card to unauthorized withdrawals from my account. The Customer Service Reps have poor attitudes. I wouldn’t recommend this institution to anyone! Worse banking experience ever!

Grow is probably one of the worst credit unions I have dealt with. I have several accounts (7) and I hate it. I just hate having to call customer service. I hate when I have a problem and they need to go beyond their every day duties to assist. It is like pulling teeth. They just sit there with this dumb look on their face. They make small problems…big problems. I have seen people in the branches screaming because they can’t get basic assistance. Save yourself the trouble and find another credit union to work with the hassle!

Grow financial is the worst bank I have ever done business with. My car loan numbers change all the time, up 2k down 1k. How does a loan go up after a payment is made. Then they claim I own them money after making 2 payments in a row and keep calling my phone . I also had to wait in line for 45 minutes just to make a payment. Yes in 2012 I waited 45 min. They suck
