1) Grow Financial Illegally Re-Poed my car. Anyone know an Honest Lawyer
Last year I got divorced. My wife was having an affair with the next door neighbor. I bought a 2008 Mustang Convt. in 2009. “By Mistake I put the car in both our names.” I was to get the car in the Divorce. I moved back to NY and she stayed in Fl. After the divorce waiting for the new loan and title in my name only, My Psyco x wife and her Lawyer called Grow Financial and said she changed her mind and was keeping the car, (Violating a Court Order.) After not hearing from G/F for a month, I called them and this it was they told me. For Spite she missed 3 payments and they Re-Poed it. I had $6000 Equity in the car. Last week I filed a “MOTION FOR CIVIL CONTEMPT/ENFORCEMENT.” with the Court in Fl. ?? I need help along with Several other Victims. Please email me at handimanbobby@yahoo.com Thanks. I’m a 50% Disabled Combat Veteran. Only in America !!!!!!!!!!1

3) Poor Treatment of Employees
Grow Financial is no longer a credit union. When they were MacDill FCU, they cared about employees and members as a true credit union does. Remember: if it smells like a bank, looks like a bank, loans like a bank…..it’s a bank. FEES? CUSTOMERS? TAKE A NUMBER? PRESS 1 FOR WHAT? SMALL BUSINESS LOANS? BIG SCREEN TV’S? PERSONAL GYM?, TAJ MAHAL HEADQUARTERS? Really??????
4) Robots in Disquise
Talk about unprofessional, emotionless robots on the phone. Even the managers are capable of nothing less than answering the phone and reading back your account number. Had an account for many years, but wanted to make a modification. Basically was told its not something they ever do. Find a bank who cares b/c its not Grow Financial.
5) You Better Look Before You Leap
This credit union is awful. They have a group of senior managers that do not know they backside from their elbows. The employees are encouraged to cheat. If the member finds out then they reverse the charges. The ethics of the old MacDill FCU went away with the name change. The EVP E C Williams is a cruel person. He walks around as if he were the best thing in Tampa. He became a scorned old man when his cutie pie Jean Hopstetter left to work with her other lover. Payback for cheating or wanting to cheat. Beware of the deceptive practices. There are several managers that have been fored if they do not go along with the practices.
6) Deceptive Business Practices
Grow Financial added “Single Life” and “Disability” insurance to my auto loan without my knowledge and consent. They apparently do this with every loan, which results in a monthly charge based on the amount of the loan. The DEFAULT is to ADD this protection for every client and the client is required to cancel if they do not want the service. Unfortunately the bank will not tell you about this so many people will not notice the extra charge since they automatically add it to your monthly payment quote. Everything looks normal upon payment unless you look at a detailed breakdown of your payment. Deceitful business practice, this bank does not respect its clients. Their customer service is terrible if you can even get them to respond and the response I received from the Area Vice President Kim Falana was “you should read everything before signing it.” That was their resolution to my complaint. Is this what you want from your bank?
7) Problems with this credit union
This bank just instituted a new fee schedule (2/15/10), and while expected, the way they apply and calculate their fees is subjective and makes it virtually impossible to know what your balance is. They do not list on your account merchant holds, which can sometimes be very different than the actual transaction amount, or those that are held long after your transaction has cleared, so you truly do not know what your available balance is. Hence, lots and lots of fees. Please, for the sake of your hard earned money, do not use this credit union until they get this fixed.
