This is my response to Robert Fisher of Grow Financial Federal Credit Union’s settlement offer of $500.00.

5-26-2013

Robert Fisher,

You are herby being notified that your settlement offer of $500.00 is being rejected. I reluctantly offered to meet you halfway on the day of our pretrial mediation on May 2nd 2013 and your lawyer informed me that wasn’t an option. He conceitedly informed me that Grow Financial had initially told him to offer me, “$100.00 to make me go away”. But that he had graciously persuaded you to offer me $500.00. This is not acceptable. Your credit union took from me $885.00 and I want to be made whole, including my court fees of $191.00 for a total of – $1076.00.

You have 14 days from the date of this letter to agree to my counter offer, and I will consent to your requirements stipulated in the settlement agreement that your lawyer emailed to me. If after two weeks this has not been settled in full, the new total required would be the full amount of $2500.00 that I am currently suing Grow Financial for. It is of course in your best interest to settle early.

Please note that this is not only about the money for me. What Grow did was unethical and holds Grow members in low regard. For me to be made whole is for you to acknowledge that this was an unprofessional and deplorable way to do business.

This has already caused too much grief and consumed enough of my time and energy. But if this isn’t resolved favorably within the abovementioned timeframe, I plan to immediately release a website available for all Internet browsers/searchers contemplating doing business with Grow Financial Federal Credit Union, who are looking for company reviews, etc. This of course will come up in all search engines and undoubtedly cause headache with loss of business and revenue for Grow over the years. I will share ALL details here from day one of this incident, including the most recent attempt(s) to bowdlerize my reviews and First Amendment rights. I will also bring to light these demands brought forth by your legal defense in the settlement agreement/release in regards to my bank accounts and credit card account forcibly being terminated in the settlement stipulations. You can also be assured I will enthusiastically continue adding to my extremely unfavorable reviews in any and all websites and forums that have anything to do with reviewing credit unions and banks. However, I will at once and for all pull the plug on this if I am expeditiously made whole.

You can now review the website’s beginning stages here:

Sincerely,

Robert Johnson
